Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott set aside their differences to cheer on their eldest daughter as she crossed a major milestone.
Stella McDermott received her high school diploma Thursday, June 11, with both of her parents proudly by her side. Tori, 53, and Dean, 59, sat together in the California heat to watch their 18-year-old walk at her graduation ceremony, and the former couple posed for photos with the graduate afterward.
Stella marked the occasion in a royal blue cap and gown, her long blonde hair falling in soft waves. Tori kept things breezy in a flowy light-colored blouse and oversized amber-lens sunglasses, while Dean went casual in a plain white V-neck T-shirt.
The warm co-parenting moment comes after a lengthy and, at times, contentious split.
As Star previously reported, Tori and Dean settled their divorce in November 2025, following a legal battle over custody and spousal support. In filings, Tori indicated that both child custody and spousal support arrangements had been resolved. Dean had sought joint custody of their minor children and financial support from his ex, disclosing that he earns $3,800 a month. Tori had requested sole physical custody and support as well.
The pair, who wed in May 2006, separated in June 2023 after Dean announced the split in a since-deleted Instagram post. Tori officially filed for divorce in March 2024.
She later revealed on her misSPELLING podcast that she was pushed to move forward after their daughter Hattie asked her, “Have you ever considered what it would be like to be with someone else and not dad and get treated right?”
Dean, for his part, took responsibility for the marriage’s collapse. “All Tori’s ever done to this day is want me to be happy and healthy and I inflicted a lot of damage and pain on that woman,” he told the Daily Mail in 2023.
