Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott Settle Divorce After Battle Over Custody, Spousal Support

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have settled their divorce.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 52, asked a judge to sign off on her dissolution of marriage from the Canadian actor, 58, in a document filed on Monday, November 3 and obtained by Star.

The pair were married in 2006 and separated in 2023. They share five children: Sons Liam, 18, Finn, 13, and Beau, 8, and daughters Stella, 17, and Hattie, 14.

The actress officially filed for divorce last year, and revealed on her “misSPELLING” podcast in 2025 that she was prompted to make her decision after Hattie asked her, “Have you ever considered what it would be like to be with someone else and not dad and get treated right?”

As Star previously reported, McDermott had asked for joint custody of their minor children and financial support from his ex, revealing that he earns just $3,800 a month. Spelling had also requested support and sole physical custody.

In her most recent filing, Spelling indicated that child custody and spousal support had been determined.

The former Chopped Canada host confessed to the Daily Mail in 2023 that his addiction issues were to blame. “All Tori’s ever done to this day is want me to be happy and healthy and I inflicted a lot of damage and pain on that woman,” he told the outlet, adding that the pair were living like “roommates” by the end.
