On Thursday, June 11, season 22 contestant Johnnie LaRossa posted a video on Instagram with other suitors from the season. In the video, the text reads “Is the show going to air🌹?!?” and “Us….” and shows the men inhaling and exhaling with serious expressions before breaking out into dance and smiles.
“Just breathe and wait to find out 🌹😉,” LaRossa captioned the playful video.
As Star previously reported, ABC announced in March it would not air Paul’s season of The Bachelorette after TMZ published a disturbing video of her and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, in a 2023 domestic dispute.

In the clip filmed by Mortensen, 33, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives alum, 32, threw multiple metal bar stools at him in front of her 8-year-old daughter, Indy, who started crying. Along with Indy, Paul shares son Ocean, 3, with ex-husband Tate and son Ever, 2, with Mortensen.
However, ABC executive Rob Mills left the door open for the season to air while speaking to Deadline in April.
“The day all of that stuff happened, really our first sort of concern was really for Taylor and the family and everyone involved in that, it was really more on a human level,” Mills told the publication. “Now, we’re sort of taking it a day at a time. I think her season is a wonderful season, by Bachelor standards. If it gets seen, I’m sure people will absolutely enjoy it.”

Additionally, a source told Us Weekly in May that Paul “has been doing the work behind the scenes, taken accountability and is focused on moving forward in a more positive way.”
“The hope is that viewers would connect with that growth and see a different side of her, making this season feel like a true redemption moment rather than just a return to TV, but right now her priority is her family and her mental health,” the source explained.
