While her season of The Bachelorette may never see the light of day, Taylor Frankie Paul could still make a killing if she’s willing to spill the dirty details.
“Even with the expensive and sudden cancellation of her Bachelorette season, after it had already been filmed and edited, nobody connected with the Mormon Wives universe thinks this is the end of the line for Taylor and her entertainment business aspirations, which are still huge,” a source exclusively tells Star. “She may have limited options at this particular moment in time, but she is by far the biggest breakout reality star of the last five years, and the world of podcasting, social media and even books are wide open to her.”
According to the insider, book publishers are vying to hear “her side of the story.”

“They know she is a marketing machine thanks to her star status on TikTok and Instagram,” the source explains. “She’s been temporarily shamed by the release of the chair-throwing video, but it’s only made her more famous. In many ways, she’s holding more cards than she did before her Bachelorette episodes were cancelled, and she has proven that she can be a figure of intrigue on a national level.”
As Star previously reported, Paul’s season of the reality dating series was axed after video from a 2023 physical altercation with her then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen surfaced last month. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star was seen flinging metal barstools at Mortensen, and inadvertently striking her then-5-year-old daughter.
Paul was arrested and later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.

“For the time being, the only thing that appears to be off the table is more big-budget reality television,” the insider tells Star. “The TV companies behind the biggest shows, Hulu, Disney, Netflix, all of them, have drawn the line, and they can’t hire Taylor no matter how many fans she clearly has who are still hanging on her every move.”
It’s not impossible for the mother of three to turn her image around, the source notes.
“What she does next will be watched by everybody, and if Taylor can stay in the public eye and get more of her story out there, she’ll get more chances to make reality TV, eventually.”
