Kelly Osbourne Tried ‘to Make It Work’ With Ex Sid Wilson, Has ‘Been in Crisis’ Since Dad Ozzy Died

Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson may have called it quits on their eight-month engagement, but a source says the TV personality is “confident they’ll stay friends.”

The 41-year-old and the Slipknot rocker met decades ago when the 49-year-old toured alongside Kelly’s late father, Ozzy Osbourne. They stayed friends for years before finally sparking a romance in 2022, welcoming son Sidney, 3, later that year. Kelly seemed elated when Sid, who she’s deemed her “best friend” and “soulmate,” proposed backstage at Ozzy’s final concert last July. But just weeks later, her world was upended when the Black Sabbath frontman passed away.

“Kelly’s been having a wretched time since her dad’s death,” says the source. “She’s been in crisis.”

As she continues to process the loss, Kelly’s also been confronted with an onslaught of negative feedback about her plummeting weight. “All the brutal trolling has gotten her extremely down,” continues the source, who suggests that her personal struggles inevitably affected her relationship.

“As cracks started to show” between her and Sid, explains the source, “Kelly made every effort to make things work. She doesn’t want their son to be raised in a broken home. That’s the grim reality she’s dealing with now, but she and Sid are both committed to being kind with each other. They’re determined to get through this together as co-parents.”
