Kaia Gerber and Lewis Pullman ‘Taking Their Future’ Seriously: ‘Engagement’ Expected Before Year’s End
A wedding may soon be in the works for Kaia Gerber and boyfriend Lewis Pullman!
“Nobody who knows Lewis has seen him as happy and proud as he is with Kaia,” a source tells Star. “Everybody is expecting an engagement between these two before the end of the year.”
Although they’ve only been dating for a year and a half, “what has really become clear this spring is how seriously Lewis and Kaia are taking their future together,” says the source. “They show up for each other and you can see that there’s a long-term vision for how they’ll be supporting each other.”
There’s a “willingness” on Kaia’s part to join Lewis, 33, on the sets of his projects, “despite having a busy schedule of her own,” notes the source, and the Top Gun: Maverick star is “always the first to speak up about what” the supermodel-turned actress, 24, “has coming up, and he’s helped get people excited about her work.”
It’s a dynamic that was notably absent in Kaia’s doomed romance with ex-boyfriend Austin Butler, Star‘s source notes.
“Even on a good day, [he] could come across as a self-absorbed, selfish person,” the source says of the Elvis actor, 34. “But Lewis is a whole different story. He’s humble, he’s gentle and people in town are rooting for him and Kaia to go the distance.”
Both of their famous families are too.
Kaia’s parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and Lewis’ folks, Bill Pullman and Tamara Hurwitz, are “pretty supportive of this relationship,” adds the source.
