George and Amal Clooney are still giving honeymoon energy.
“When you’re younger, you want to be right about everything, you know? ‘Don’t paint that color wall,’” George, 64, told CBS News on Sunday, November 2, of his decade-long marriage to Amal, 47.
The Wolves star added: “And you know, Amal and I — everybody gets ticked off when I say it — but we’ve never had a fight. We’ve never had an argument. And some of it is because I’m at this point in life where if she wants to paint the wall red, I don’t care.”
George and Amal married in September 2014, after meeting through a mutual friend in 2013. Their courtship was swift, chatting over email for months before meeting in London for their first date.
George proposed in April 2014 and the pair wed in September of that year. Today, the couple are parents to 8-year-old twins: Son Alexander and daughter Ella, whose privacy they fiercely protect.

According to the Ocean’s Eleven star, bickering just isn’t worth the trouble.
“You get to a point in life where you just go, ‘Why would that be a discussion or an argument?’” George told CBS. “We have a really amazing relationship because we’re also so supportive of each other that it’s like, ‘I don’t care.’”
George clarified that in his bachelor days, he might have put up a fight.
“I think I would have found things to, you know, stick my chest out about that,” George told CBS. “I can go now, ‘It doesn’t matter, I don’t care.’”
It’s not the first time the actor has glowed in marital bliss.
“The greatest lesson I learned is to marry the right person, which I did,” Clooney toldPeople in September 2025. “And so, it has been nothing but an honor and a pleasure to be married to my wife.”
