However, during an October 2020 episode of No Filter with Naomi, Diaz spoke with host Naomi Campbell about what it was like becoming a mom later in life.
“I love it,” the Charlie’s Angels actress said, explaining that many people expand their family “the other way around” by getting married and having babies “in their youth.”
“I’m kind of doing it in the second half of my life,” she said. “The only pressure for me now is I have to live to be like 107!”
Still, she said, “I really feel like this is my sweet spot and my happiest time in my life, even with all the amazing experience I’ve had in traveling and [the] accomplishments of working hard and putting things into the world that I’m proud of…I know this is really the most gratifying moment in my life to to be at this place.”
“When you’re my age and you decide to [have a family], it’s a real choice,” Diaz explained.
