Brandi Glanville Believes She Contracted a ‘Sexually Transmitted Ringworm’ From Adult Film Star
Brandi Glanville has had her share of unusual maladies — from her breast implant bursting to a mysterious “parasite” she says has disfigured her — but her most recent one is a real doozy. On a recent ep of her Unfiltered podcast, the 53-year-old told porn star Lisa Ann that she’d contracted “sexually transmitted ringworm” in her throat.
The former Real Housewife explained that she’d been dating a younger man who worked in the adult film industry. She explained that he would only ejaculate in her mouth or on her face because he didn’t want to get her pregnant. “He didn’t know that ship had sailed,” she joked. She suspected that she’d contracted the fungal infection that way — though she didn’t seem clear that no actual worm is involved, wrongly stating that “if it’s in your throat, they can burrow deep into your ears and all that.”
While Brandi later said she’d tested negative for the ailment, Lisa Ann confirmed that ringworm — which is treated with topical or oral antifungal products — is an issue in the adult film industry. Saying that new actors are thoroughly inspected, she added of the itchy rash, “It’s incredibly contagious.”
