Before joining Brooke Triplett’s She Sells With Brooke, Abbey says her corporate job came with a clean number on paper and a very different reality off it.

She was contracted for 38 hours a week at $72 an hour.

But according to testimonial materials shared by Triplett and reviewed for this article, Abbey said the job often stretched much further once weekend calls, emails and extra responsibilities were added in.

Her words were sharper than any calculation.

She was “stressed out of my freaking mind.”

The contrast became part of the story She Sells With Brooke has used to show what remote sales can look like for women leaving traditional corporate schedules behind. In Abbey’s case, the before-and-after was not subtle.

The old version, according to Abbey’s account, was a 38-hour contract that regularly moved closer to a 60-hour week.

The newer version came with a very different set of numbers.

A testimonial graphic posted to She Sells With Brooke’s Instagram account, listed Abbey’s May stats as 90 calls, 90 sales call hours, seven meeting hours, eight training hours and 15 other hours.

The same graphic calculated her hourly rate at $236.29 and described the month as a “$30K in one month” result.

A note on the image added another line: “my second 30k month in 5 months!!”

That is the kind of figure that gets attention. It is also the kind of figure that needs context.

The post was a testimonial graphic shared by She Sells With Brooke, not an independently audited income record. Abbey’s result should be treated as one person’s experience, not a promise of what every remote sales representative will earn.

Still, the numbers are part of why the story works.

Abbey was not presented as someone who stopped working. She still took calls. She still attended meetings. She still logged hours.

But the work looked different from the corporate schedule she described.

In separate testimonial materials reviewed for this article, Abbey described a month that included family time, school events, medical appointments and errands that would have been harder to fit around a 60-hour corporate rhythm.

There were five days at SeaWorld with her family. A trip to Disney on Ice. Her son’s Under 8s Day at school. A paediatrician appointment. An ENT appointment for her daughter. A tax appointment in Brisbane. A barbecue with school mums and their families. An airport run for her mother.

That is not a month off.

It is a month where the work appeared to move around the life.

For Triplett, that is the sell behind She Sells With Brooke: remote sales training for women who want income potential without returning to the same corporate structure they were trying to leave.

In the caption accompanying the May post, She Sells With Brooke wrote that its top closers “chose a different path” and “mastered the art of sales.”

Abbey’s case gives the claim a concrete example: a woman who says she went from being “stressed out of my freaking mind” in a corporate role to being listed in a public She Sells testimonial graphic at $28,354 in May commission across 120 total hours.

Sales outcomes vary. Performance varies. Markets vary. Training, offer quality and workload all matter.

But Abbey’s story has the basic ingredients of a tabloid-friendly work-life reversal: the 60-hour grind, the family calendar, the five days at SeaWorld and the big number at the end.

She used to describe herself as stressed out.

Now, according to the May graphic, she is being presented as a $236-an-hour case study.
