Ashton Kutcher Clarifies Whether He and Wife Mila Kunis Shower After Viral 2021 Hygiene Statements
Ashton Kutcher addressed rumors about his personal hygiene after comments he and wife Mila Kunis made several years ago sparked speculation online.
The That ’70s Show alum, 47, shut down claims that he doesn’t shower regularly while promoting his upcoming FX series, The Beauty.
“It was the craziest thing of all time,” Kutcher told People in an interview published on Monday, January 19. “We made a comment at one point, and people were like, ‘Does he stink? Does he smell?’
His The Beauty costars, Anthony Ramos and Jeremy Pope, were also present for the interview and Kutcher explained to them, “There was a comment on a podcast, so long ago… and people are like, ‘They don’t shower.’ I’m like, ‘I shower, I go to the gym, I shower.’”
In July 2021, Kutcher and Kunis, 42, were guests on Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert, and they spoke about their hygiene routines. “I don’t wash my body with soap every day. But I wash pits and tits and holes and soles,” Kunis said at the time.
Kutcher chimed in and said, “I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever. I got a bar of Lever 2000 that just delivers every time. Nothing else.”
The remark quickly went viral and led to fans making assumptions about their habits.
However, Ramos, 34, had Kutcher’s back and confirmed to People that the Just Married star bathes on a regular basis.
“I can confirm my boy showers,” the Twisters actor said.
