‘ANTM’ Winner Adrianne Curry Slams Tyra Banks for Not Showing Remorse in New Doc
The Tyra Banks backlash continues. In the wake of the Netflix docuseries Reality Check: America’s Next Top Model, the show’s host and creator has been under fire for exploitative challenges and bullying behavior.
On Feb. 17, ANTM cycle 1 winner Adrianne Curry weighed in, posting a video rant on X, in which the 43-year-old sniped that Tyra, 52, has no remorse. “She is not sorry. She is not apologizing to you. That bitch is not effing sorry. She will not bend the knee,” said Adrianne, adding sarcastically that she “respects” her stance. “Everyone’s coming to me and they’re like, ‘None of the judges were sorry.’ Why should they be? They’re all loaded!”
For her part, Tyra did acknowledge the pushback, sorta. “Looking back, those were some really off choices,” the model posted on social media. “Appreciate your honest feedback and am sending so much love and virtual hugs.”
