Joe Jonas, 28, and his new fiancé British actress Sophie Turner both posted the same photo to Instagram on Sunday. The 21-year-old Game of Thrones star captioned hers, “I said yes.” The DNCE singer captioned his, “She said yes.” The photo is a close up of Sophie’s left hand resting atop of Joe’s, with an impossible to miss engagement ring shining from that finger.
The ring features a massive pear shaped diamond set between two very delicate diamond bands. It’s absolutely stunning, just like the bride-to-be. Sophie, who plays Sansa Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones, first started dating the former Jonas Brothers singer last year. The pair have become so close they reportedly adopted a dog together last month.
Joe’s already married big bro Kevin Jonas, 29, replied to the Instagram announcement with a congratulatory, “Yeah!!!!!!!” Little brother Nick Jonas, 25, chimed in, “YES!!!” Friends of the couple and fans have also been quick to send their best wishes to the newly engaged couple. Unlike Sophie’s GOT character Sansa’s two weddings, this one is sure to be a very happy occasion.
