Did Scott Disick just propose marriage to 19-year-old Sofia Richie? If we are to believe the celebratory video and sweet message spelled out on the couple’s dessert plate then, yes. Scott and Sofia enjoyed a romantic dinner date while on a Miami vacation together. When the waiter brought dessert, the plate was adorned with a note spelled out in chocolate that read, “Congratulations Scott and Sofia!”
This video posted by The Shade Room on Instagram appears to capture precious post-proposal moments. The couple is kissing and well wishers are heard cheering, clapping, and shouting “congratulations!”
The 34-year-old reality star and the Lionel Richie’s model daughter were first spotted together in the South of France where they spent time together on a yacht during the Cannes Film Festival. They have been practically inseparable ever since.
Both Scott and Sofia have denied being romantically involved, but it’s clear from this video that their relationship is far from platonic. Could the 19-year-old landed the world’s biggest playboy? If so, what will Scott’s ex Kourtney Kardashian, 38, think?
Not only is Sofia half Kourtney’s age, the reality star and fashion mogul spent almost 10 years with Scott without ever making it to the altar. Scott and Kourtney do have three kids together, Mason Dash Disick, 7, Penelope Scotland Disick, 5, and Reign Aston Disick, 2.
The couple first began dating in 2006. The dramatic ups and downs of their tumultuous relationship was well documented on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Scott and Kourtney finally called it quits about two years ago.
Ever since then Scott has been linked to a long list of young starlets, models, and mystery women. Kourtney on the other hand, seemed to be mostly focused on her career and motherhood. She is currently dating former boxer-turned-model Younes Bendjima, 24.
Maybe Scott is finally ready to put his womanizing ways behind him and settle down. If the Instagram video is proof of a proposal, then congratulations are in order. There is some speculation though, that the video is a publicity stunt to raise ratings ahead the 10th anniversary of KUWTK. The timing is a bit suspect since a special episode of the show airs Sunday night on E!.
