She’s been with Brad Pitt for nearly ten years, but that doesn’t mean things are always easy in Angelina Jolie’s relationship! The couple finally tied the knot over the summer, but with six kids, the actress admits that marriage is “hard work.”
“We work really hard at nurturing our family to make sure everybody is alright and everyone stays connected,” she tells The Australian Women’s Weekly. “Maintaining a marriage and raising kids is hard work. You have to really make sure that your work doesn’t get in the way, that you don’t do something that is going to put too much of a strain on your family.”
Still, Angie says she’s “very happy to be married,” and enjoys being able to finally say “my husband.” As for her kids, the Unbroken director adds, “They’re six of the funniest people we have ever met in our lives. We love being home and we love being around them because they are just so entertaining.”
The “hard work” Angelina is referring too was pretty clearly evident recently, when she and Brad were photographed in the middle of a blowout fight in Australia.
