Two chairs filled! On Monday, Gwen Stefani confirmed the recent reports that she’ll be sitting in one of the big red chairs on Season 7 of The Voice.
The singer took to Instagram to make the announcement, sharing a simple photo of her perfectly-manicured hand holding a microphone and giving the show’s signature “V” symbol. “it’s true! gx @nbcthevoice,” she wrote.
Hours before, Christina Aguilera spilled the news on Twitter a bit prematurely. “So excited to have you join #TheVoice squad @GwenStefani!” she wrote. “Welcome to our crazy fam! Kisses- xoxo #blondesdoitbest.”
Pharrell Williams will join the No Doubt frontwoman next season, along with veteran judges Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, who’ve been with the show since Season 1. Christina, who’s currently pregnant, is expected to return for Season 8.
