Jon Gosselin isn’t going to be too happy about this! In June, TLC will air a one hour special catching viewers up on what Kate Gosselin and her eight kids have been up to since their reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 (later just Kate Plus 8) ended in September 2011.
The Gosselins made a reality TV splash when their show premiered in 2007, documenting what life was like for a then-happy couple with a set of twins and a set of sextuplets. In June 2009, though, Jon and Kate announced their separation, and have since become vicious, public enemies.
Most recently, Jon slammed his 38-year-old ex-wife for bringing their twin daughters, Mady and Cara, 13, along for TV appearances and live interviews. He has been very open about wanting his children to have “normal” lives, away from the cameras.
Still, it looks like Kate is holding her own and sticking to her guns about sharing her family’s story (and keep up her 15 minutes of fame)! The upcoming special is meant to give fans an idea of what the kids are like now that they’re older, while also reviewing where Kate’s career is at since ending her run on reality television.
