He’s already been charged with vandalism for graffitiing walls in South America, and now, Justin Bieber has taken his newest hobby to Australia. As expected, the mayor of Gold Coast, Australia is none too pleased with the pop star’s artwork — and he’s issued him an ultimatum.
“I’ve got a message for pop princess Justin Beaver,” the mayor says in a video message. “We love your music, but we hate your graffiti and your vandalism here in our city. Mate, you’ve got two choices. Come back and clean up your mess or come back and sing at the Mayor’s Christmas Carol this Saturday.”
He concludes by asking fans to call the hotel Justin spray painted and ask them to have the singer come back and clean up.
Despite the mayor’s reaction, hotel management didn’t seem to have a problem with the Biebs’ decision. “He asked and we said yes,” an employee wrote on the hotel’s Facebook page.
Still, if Justin does decide to take the latter offer in the Mayor’s ultimatum…he’ll actually still be in town. The 19-year-old is currently down under for his Believe World Tour, with dates in Adelaide on Dec. 5 and Perth on Dec. 8.
