Lots of famous men’s names have popped up in the Epstein files as the U.S. Department of Justice releases millions of documents from the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. But seeing Timothée Chalamet mentioned came as a surprise.
No, the 30-year-old wasn’t caught arranging for a visit to the shady financier’s private island on the Lolita Express, as friends dubbed Epstein’s personal plane. Rather, the three-time Oscar nominee was being dissed by Soon-Yi Previn, filmmaker Woody Allen’s stepdaughter turned wife, according to Variety.

Back in 2018, the actor had starred in Woody’s A Rainy Day in New York, which was shelved amid sexual abuse allegations against the 90-year-old. (He’s denied the accusations.) Timothée went on to announce he was donating his salary to charity, implying that he regretted working on the film.
Soon-Yi, 55, was still holding a grudge. “I’m glad that prick Chalamet’s movie did not get a good review,” she wrote in a 2018 message (the actor was starring in Beautiful Boy at the time). Then, possibly being sarcastic, she continued, “No, I’m not vindictive.”
