Justin Trudeau Turned Off by Katy Perry’s Lavish Travel Style: ‘He Has a Humble Approach’

Justin Trudeau appears to disapprove of Katy Perry‘s diva antics.

According to a source, the former Prime Minister of Canada, 54, has been caught off guard by the “Hot N Cold” singer’s constant need to travel with an entourage that “can handle her security, makeup, clothes and more.”

“Even Katy would admit she’s a little addicted to being catered to,” the source tells Star. “She can’t really get anything done without an assistant, and he doesn’t operate that way at all.”

Since going Instagram official in December, the unlikely couple have surfaced everywhere from Santa Barbara, Calif., to New York City and Davos, Switzerland — racking up quite a few air miles along the way.

“Justin isn’t afraid to hop on an economy flight if it will get him where he needs to go,” notes the source. “He has a humble approach, whereas Katy seemingly hasn’t flown any way except privately in 20 years!”

The 41-year-old’s posse members allegedly don’t step foot on commercial jets, either.

“Katy likes being inside a bubble of people who she trusts implicitly,” the source points out. “She needs her people around her and they have to travel in style too.”

As Star previously reported, Trudeau’s seen his public image be “totally transformed” amid their romance, with many people now taking the political figure “less seriously.”

“With Justin, Katy has a chance to really connect with individuals and places that have been off-limits to her in the past, but she needs to shed the hangers-on and the full-time employees to do that,” adds the source. “Justin’s modesty has yet to rub off on Katy, no matter how hard he tries.”
