Alix Earle may be ready to move on from Dancing with the Stars.

Despite the show playing a major role in giving the TikTok star, 25, an even bigger platform, a new report from The U.S. Sun claims that just one year after competing alongside pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy, the influencer is reportedly keeping her distance from the ABC competition.

A DWTS source told the outlet that Earle’s absence has been noticed by fans, many of whom were wondering why the Earle Meets World star was not only one of the only season 34 cast members who have yet to make an appearance in the ballroom this season, but also one of the few who hadn’t posted about the show since season 35 premiered in September.

“Alix blew up after the show, so long story short, she isn’t posting about it because she doesn’t need to,” the source explained to The U.S. Sun. “She’s gotten bigger than that.”

“She is so grateful for the show and all it did for her career. But she is ready to move on from that chapter,” the source continued.

The source also noted that unlike many DWTS partners who stay tight after their season, Earle and Chmerkovskiy, 40, aren’t particularly close, despite their finals-making run.

“She wishes them well but honestly, she doesn’t really care,” the source told The U.S. Sun. “They don’t talk regularly; she’s more removed from that world now.”

Another factor, The U.S. Sun claims, has to do with Earle’s work with Netflix, with her family reality series on a rival network to DWTS, which is streamed on the Disney-owned Hulu the day after its ABC broadcast.

According to the outlet’s source, producers of the long-running reality competition would be pushing harder for Earle to come back to the ballroom had her show been on Hulu or Disney+.

Fans of DWTS will recall Earle’s successful season, which saw the influencer make it to the finals alongside Chmerkovskiy. The pair ultimately finished as runners-up, with Robert Irwin and partner Witney Carson taking home the Mirrorball Trophy.

In an emotional post shared to Instagram ahead of the finale, Earle shared a shot of her and Chmerkovskiy where she reflected on her experience on the show, writing, “Finale day here we come!! Some last moments of rehearsals 🥹 woke up feeling beyond excited to take in every last second of this experience and go out there with nothing but pure joy today. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along this journey.”
