Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Wedding Watch: National Guard Shows Up at MSG

Security is ramping up ahead of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s highly anticipated wedding celebration.

In Touch exclusively broke the news earlier this month, that Swift and Kelce, both 36, are set to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden over the 4th of July weekend, though the couple has otherwise stayed tight-lipped about the details.

Now with the big day fast approaching, per a TMZ report published Tuesday, June 30, National Guard members were spotted outside the arena, closing off surrounding streets in preparation for the event. The outlet also reported what appeared to be a large meeting between NYPD and National Guard personnel just outside the Garden. The couple’s wedding celebration is set for Friday, July 3.

According to the report, a National Guard representative confirmed that the organization has 1,000 members operating in New York City on a daily basis and is dispatching members to Penn Station, Grand Central, and other high-traffic areas — but stressed that the increased presence is not connected to Swift and Kelce’s wedding.

Regardless of the official explanation, the timing has fans buzzing, especially with the big day fast approaching. Per TMZ, Swift and Kelce have reportedly spared no expense for the celebration, with NDAs reportedly required of guests, a personally curated menu featuring food from top restaurants, and a star-studded lineup of performers.

As Page Six reported, the guest list is expected to include several of Swift’s closest friends, including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim, Suki Waterhouse, and Cara Delevingne. On Kelce’s side, his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany, Chiefs coach Andy Reid, and his brother Jason Kelce and wife Kylie are all expected to attend as well.
