Taylor Swift Expected to Perform at Her and Travis Kelce’s MSG Wedding: ‘Preparing Something Special’

Taylor Swift may grace her wedding guests with a performance on her big day.

According to the Wednesday, June 17, edition of Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack, sources claim the pop star, 36, will perform at her and Travis Kelce‘s celebration.

“Taylor isn’t planning a traditional wedding,” one source claimed. “She’s creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience. People close to her fully expect some kind of musical moment.”

A second souce pointed to how Swift was photographed at Electric Lady Studios in NYC this week. E! News reported the “So High School” hitmaker arrived at the recording studio around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15, and did not leave until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16. Swift was joined by her friends Alana Haim and Danielle Haim, with whom she has previously collaborated.

“Nobody believes Taylor was sitting in a recording studio for no reason,” the second source shared. “The expectation among her inner circle is that she’s preparing something special for the wedding weekend.”

“Taylor loves surprises, and she loves creating unforgettable moments,” a third source said. “Performing for the people she loves on one of the biggest nights of her life would be completely on-brand for her.”

As Star previously reported, the 14-time Grammy Award winner is expected to tie the knot with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 26, at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, per In Touch.

Sources then told TMZ on Tuesday, June 16, that Swift is having a “massive stage” constructed “under lock and key with security guards patrolling the area” at the Pennsylvania production campus, Rock Lititz.

Additionally, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani seemingly confirmed that the “Cruel Summer” singer’s wedding would take place in the Big Apple over the July Fourth weekend during a press conference on Monday.

“We are the biggest city in the country. We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for this one,” the politician, 34, said while discussing the safety of the Sunday, July 5, FIFA World Cup match at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. “We know it coincides with the Knicks’ finals run. We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding, all happening at the same time, and we are so excited to welcome the world here.”
