“I feel like that it is my fault,” Kody, 56, said in a confessional during the Sunday, November 2, episode. “I need to own the failure of the family. This is wise because I was the leader.”
Christine, 53, was the first to split from Kody in November 2021, followed by Janelle, 56, in December 2022. Meri, 54, left in January 2023, leaving Kody with his last remaining wife, Robyn Brown.

“Certain parties just went, ‘I just don’t want to do this anymore,'” Kody continued. “Like, literally Christine and I had come to this point where we just couldn’t figure it out. And I regret that. It’s a huge regret to me because I could have been a leader there too.”
While Robyn, 46, has remained open to the idea of plural marriage, Kody said that he’s no longer interested. During the season 19 tell-all earlier this year in June, host Sukanya Krishnan asked him if he and Robyn were hoping to add more wives to their family.
“Hell no,” he replied. “And I’ll tell you why: because we already failed. I would never try plural marriage again.”
