Pro-Dancer Marcella Raneri and CEO mogul Daniel Nutkis Throw Engagement Bash with Surprise Performance by The Chainsmokers

Pro-dancer and TikTok sensation Marcella Raneri and tech entrepreneur Daniel Nutkis marked their engagement in spectacular style with a lavish celebration at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas, complete with a surprise midnight performance by The Chainsmokers.

The ballroom at the Ritz was transformed into a floral wonderland by Roni Floral Design, the French atelier behind Sofia Richie’s wedding. More than 200,000 fresh flowers were used to create the opulent garden setting.

Just before midnight, guests were stunned when The Chainsmokers took the stage for an unannounced performance, playing a string of their hits — including Closer — while dancers, acrobats, and a full band lit up the dance floor.

Guests dined on everything from sushi to Texas barbecue at chef-curated stations and enjoyed immersive experiences throughout the night, including live portrait sketches and interactive photo booths.

Raneri, known for Netflix’s Dancing Queen and So You Think You Can Dance, has built a following of more than 600,000 on TikTok and Instagram, where she shares choreography and flexibility content. Nutkis is the founder and CEO of HITRUST.

The couple were joined by over 300 guests, including Dancing Queen co-star and RuPaul’s Drag Race: Global All Stars winner Alyssa Edwards, as well as influencers Hope Beel and Makayla Noble.
