Scott Disick is opening up about how difficult it was for him to stop being an “insecure” party boy and start being a good dad to his kids with Kourtney Kardashian. The 36-year-old loves life with Mason, 9, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 3, but things weren’t always so simple.

“Now, I couldn't be happier. I'll be honest, I would've never imagined driving the kids to school and stuff. But now, I like it,” he confessed.

“It was really, really, really difficult at first. I did not know how to be a dad and how to take care of kids and how to be there for them,” he said about life as a “cool dad.” “I feel pretty confident that I'm able to now and it's great.”

Kourtney pointed out that Scott’s struggle with depression made it hard to “appreciate” his family. “You've definitely come a long way,” she said. “I'm very proud of you.”
