Lisa Vanderpump Responds To Kyle Richards’ Twitter Rant With Major Shade

The ‘RHOBH’ star went after her former friend.

Lisa Vanderpump didn’t take Kyle Richards’ lengthy Twitter rant lying down. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to social media to snipe back at Kyle’s many allegations against her. She also shaded her former friend over her own personal struggles.

Lisa, 58, tweeted at a fan, “It’s ironic, now I’m not so hurt I can be more objective, if I wanted to hurt any of them there were so many things going on, lawsuits, bankruptcies, shops failing, shows cancelled, loans in default etc and I never said a word.”
According to Us Weekly, this tweet was referring to Kyle’s cancelled TV show, American Woman, her shuttered store, Kyle by Alene Too, and lawsuits faced by Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky.

The Vanderpump Rules star wrote, “Me on the other hand oh I am a liar, coward, sniper, bad teeth, awful friend, terrible wine, the list goes on..awful really. Glad I stepped away.” Those were all accusation made about her by the RHOBH women.

A day earlier, Kyle, 50, posted a long rant about Lisa and the show. She wrote, “This season has left me so frustrated at times. Frustrated that people don’t always seem to see the obvious. No, it’s not editing. It’s people who are good at ‘the game’. Bad people can be good at it and good people can be bad at it.”
“People who have spent their entire life treating life as a game and ‘winning’ at it have had lots of practice,” she said, shading Lisa’s machinations.
She addressed Lisa’s husband Ken Todd’s Twitter rant about the show. She wrote, “Ken is angry because the cast ‘bullied’ Lisa when she was going through a hard time. Forgetting the fact that being honest isn’t bullying AND the fact that I resisted using any adjective in that realm when Ken got up in my face.”
Kyle said she understood Lisa was going through a hard time while they were filming, after her brother’s sudden death, but that didn’t excuse her former friend’s behavior. “It was a pattern that you would think would stop because she WAS going through a hard time,” she said of Lisa’s alleged manipulations. “This pattern many of us had seen for so long it was hard to ignore. That combined with the fact that we ALL ‘signed up’ to be honest about what is going on in the group.”
Kyle also said they all agreed to only discuss things that happened on the show, and not things pertaining to their husbands and children.
