Regis Philbin revealed in 2015 that he hasn't spoken to Kelly, 45, since he left Live in 2011 — but that he wouldn't be opposed to returning to his seat next to her!

“Well, if they asked me to do a day or two, it might be fun,” Regis,  84, told Newsday.

"So far, I haven’t heard from anybody," he explained. "But I’m happy to be home."

"I did it for 28 years in New York and 25 years in L.A. before that," he concluded. "I thought it was a great show. I thought we did a good thing."

ABC has not permanently replaced Michael Strahan on Live yet, but Kelly's friends Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper have both had guest spots.
