Paula Abdul is coming clean about her plastic surgery. On the October 3 episode of The Wendy Williams Show, she told Wendy about the work she had done before she started her Las Vegas residency earlier this year.
“Women of our age, we start really looking for treatments, aesthetic treatments that resonate,” Paula, 57, said. “I was thinking, I’m going to have my residency, I want to do something, but I wasn’t ready to have the big incisions or a face-lift.”
Wendy, 55, asked her what she decided to do, admitting that she couldn’t stop “staring” at the work Paula had done.
“So I was trying to navigate and I found this company and they have this procedure that’s called face tight and body tight and what I loved about it is it’s minimally invasive,” the former American Idol judge said. “No noticeable scars. I was out walking around two or three days later.”

But Wendy still pressed for more details. “What did you get tightened?” she asked.

“Skin elasticity, I wanted a little sleeker jawline,” Paula said. Then she explained the procedure. “It's radio-frequency you can get numbed or if you're a wimp like me they can give you an Ativan.” Ativan is an anti-anxiety medication.

“Maybe even less,” Abdul revealed. “But I don’t remember because I remember being a little loopy. But what I love about it is there’s no visible scars, no big incisions.”

The former judges gave Kelly credit for making the reality show a hit. “The whole premise of this show was: We had to find a star who was going to sell records — and we found some great people that whole year — but when you delivered that moment on that first live show and when you sang that winning song at the end, it was a game-changer,” Simon said.
