Orlando Bloom may have needed to blow off some steam this past week after his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, announced her engagement to her billionaire fiancé — but he didn't seem to have girlfriend, Katy Perry, by his side to enjoy the vacation.

The 39-year-old, who shares 5-year-old son Flynn with Miranda, was spotted in Malibu on July 17 with a handful of friends, but no Katy.

An insider told E! News on July 22 that Orlando even sent happy messages to Miranda after he heard the news about her engagement, and also revealed that the actor "also plans to get married and have more kids one day."
