It started when Safaree, 37, tweeted, “Unless I really cared still I could not let the mention of someone's name get me that riled up. That looks like some1 who either stlll cares or just holding on to a lot of hate towards someone.” He meant his ex, Nicki, 35. He was responded to a question she was asked by Funkmaster Flex about ghost writing. Safaree co-wrote some of her songs, and he was unhappy to hear her say his name.
Clearly he’s still “holding on to a lot of hate towards someone” since this feud continued for hours. Nicki accused him of stealing from her, saying, “U stole my card & told me you thought it was an account with “free money” that I didn’t know about. On God. God will strike you down & more for lying.”
He replied, “I didn't use your card for prostitutes.” He also said he knew she was cheating on him with Meek Mill toward the end of their relationship, but he’s “not mad at that.” He explained, “don't wish you bad and I don't want us back together just like I'm sure you don't.”
Then things got out of control. He said that the “Starships” rapper cut him and he “almost died!” “I had to lie and tell them I was trying to kill myself so they wouldn't take you to jail,” he said.
Safaree said he felt this fighting was beneath the “Anaconda” rapper. “And stop letting these ppl see you sweat. This ain't you. You too big to act the way you be acting. No1 on ur level acts like that. Period.”
Nicki really went for the jugular with her response. She said she paid for Safaree to get hair plugs! She wrote, “It fell back out cuz God don’t like ugly!!!! You used me but God had other plans!!!!!” She said that Tyga had the same ones done and that they cost ten thousand dollars!
They kept going back and forth with accusations. Nicki said he begged her to take him back, and Safaree said actually she begged him, and he has the emails to prove it. She said she has the emails where he begged her to pay his electric bill.

Having said her piece, the “Superbass” rapper went back to promoting her new album. Meanwhile, Safaree clarified that he and Tyga didn’t go to the same doctor for their hair plugs. He didn't admit whether his fell out.

Safaree concluded saying that it’s been 5 whole years and “there’s no way [he] could hold on to something that long.” But since he tweeted about his ex two hours, it seems like he might have.
