Watch Out, Kelly! Michael Strahan Reveals NEW Secrets About His Sour Exit From 'Live' — Will Ripa Explode AGAIN?

There was no congratulations parties held behind the scenes of Live! on Michael Strahan's last day — and now that it's been a couple of months since his exit, he's dropping some major secrets about why he's "excited" to start his new job at Good Morning America.

During a recent red carpet interview with PEOPLE, Michael revealed that he's "learned to have fun" since he left Kelly Ripa to run Live! by herself.

"Life is not that serious," he told the publication. "We have so many things that happen that make you realize how precious life is, how you'd better enjoy every day – you can determine what your attitude is. You wake up, you make yourself happy, you wake up, you make yourself whatever you want to be."

His "life is not that serious" comment could be taking another jab at Kelly's major meltdown after the announcement went out that he'd be leaving Live! to join GMA in September.

When his last day got bumped up to May 13, the two co-hosts played nice on stage. But after the cameras stopped rolling, their relationship got worse — starting with Kelly's on-air diss that she's gotten used to being walked on.

And Michael isn't letting her take all of the jabs — in fact, during his first interview post-Live!, he told Chelsea Handler, "I really haven't missed it," the ex-football player insisted. "But I loved it. Don't get me wrong. I loved it. When you get a break, sometimes you kind of go, 'Wow, I kind of needed it.' I needed a break."
