Angelina Jolie had a family reunion on the red carpet at the Japanese premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil on October 3 as she and daughter Zahara, 14, posed for photos with her 18-year-old son Maddox. The family moment took place a little over a month after the movie star dropped her eldest child off at college in South Korea.
Angelina, 44, looked luminescent in a silver, fringe halter top gown. She accessorized the flapper-inspired look with dangly earrings.
The proud mom posed with arms around both her kids. Maddox, who attends Yonsei University, went for a monochrome look in black jeans, black boots and a black blazer. Zahara wore a black halter-top dress with a lace skirt. Her black and silver braids fell loose around her face.
As Star readers know, Maddox has a tense relationship with dad Brad Pitt. It’s even been reported that he doesn’t really consider himself the actor’s son.
Last month, Maddox snubbed his dad during an interview. When asked if the 55-year-old actor would be visiting him at school, he said, “Whatever happens, happens.”
