On the February 25 episode of Vanderpump Rules, Lala, 29, took the other women on a girls’ trip to Solvang, California. But the SUR hostess didn’t let a drop of alcohol cross her lips as they visited wineries. She and Rand, 47, had pledged to stop drinking.

She explained to
Stassi Schroeder that their relationship had become strained since her father’s death. “I’m in a big funk and it’s just getting worse. This sounds so morbid. My dad is just a memory. I just miss him — a lot,” she said.

“I really retreated from everybody, including Rand. It is such a heavy thing. I’m just mad that it happened. I just can’t stand the thought of my dad not being at my wedding and seeing me have babies,” Lala explained.

“I feel like my world just crumbled and it’s really f**ked up right now,” she said through tears.

Back in Los Angeles, the women were shocked when Lala started drinking again. But it was because her relationship with the film producer had taken a big hit.

“I basically gave up alcohol for him because the way I was acting was just not okay. And then I come home to what he’s doing, and it’s like, f**k that,” she told the women. She explained to the camera that while she was away — and not drinking — Rand was partying and ignoring their sobriety pact.

“I feel betrayed because we made a pact. This is a hard time for me, and I need my partner, I need my soulmate and I need someone to back me up,” Lala said, becoming more enraged.

“He claims that it’s because I’ve been very, very, very unloving and harsh the past week,” the singer said before bursting into tears. “I decided to take a break from him. There’s just a lot going on. I’m f**ked up right now. I don’t think I can be with Rand.”
