Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott just might be broken up for good. On October 1, news broke that the couple, who’s been together since the spring of 2017, are “taking a break” from their relationship. They also share daughter Stormi, 20 months, who was born in February 2018.

Some fans felt blindsided by the news, since Travis and Kylie were together at the end of August at the premiere of his documentary, Look Mom I Can Fly. They also covered the Pleasure issue of Playboy together, with Travis, 28, interviewing Kylie, 21 for the feature. 

“As far as I know, they’re just taking a break, it’s not a full on split,” an insider told In Touch. “It wasn’t that long ago that Kylie was talking about having another baby with Travis, so this comes as a shock.”

Travis and Kylie’s relationship began in earnest when they hung out at Coachella in 2017. Kylie recalled in a 2018 interview with GQ, “So he said, ‘I’m going back on tour—what do we want to do about this?’ Because we obviously liked each other. And I was like, ‘I guess I’m going with you.’” Thus began their whirlwind romance.

Kylie and Stormi accompanied Travis on his Astroworld tour during the fall. Kylie even made some surprise appearances on stage with him. The couple also started referring to each other as husband and wife, confusing fans who wondered if they’d secretly wed.

In December, the pair were rocked by allegations that Travis had cheated. He vehemently denied stepping out on Kylie, and the “proof” of his infidelity turned out to be an internet hoax.
