Kelly, for the second year in a row, coached the winner of The Voice. She confessed that she acts like a stage mom with her team, so that makes her worry about how she would treat her kids if they were the ones competing.

She even divulged what advice she gave to her 2017 winner, 15-year-old Brynn Cartelli. “I warned Brynn’s mom … I’m like, ‘Hold onto them!’ Hug them and tell them really nice things because people are mean.’ That’s horrible, but it is reality,” Kelly explained.
