Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been arrested for alleged domestic violence against his on-again, off-again girlfriend Jen Harley. The pair share 18-month-old daughter Ariana Sky. RadarOnline.com confirmed the 33-year-old reality star was taken into custody.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s public information office, officers responded to a “battery in progress” at around 2:40 a.m. on October 4 in 7200 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive.
Ronnie and Jen were “involved in some kind of physical altercation,” police explained. The Bronx native was “uncooperative” with the officers on the scene.
“Officers had to use a taser, so a minor use of force occurred,” the police confirmed.
Cops confirmed that he was arrested and officially booked into the system for kidnapping. His bail was set at $100,000. He was released later in the day
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has not filed any official criminal charges against Ronnie, but prosecutors have not yet received information from the LAPD concerning the early Friday morning incident.
Sadly, police claimed a child was at the residence when the altercation occurred. Thankfully, they said the child was “not harmed,” but couldn’t confirm if it was Ariana.
