Bethenny Frankel may have split from husband Jason Hoppy way back in 2012, but the fallout from their separation has rocked her life ever since. Now, on last night’s Real Housewives of New York City, she got real about the pressure the situation has put on her and daughter Bryn Hoppy. “I’m so stressed out, it’s beyond belief,” the mom told Dorinda through tears. And it was mostly because of ex-husband Jason, 47.

“I’m trying to raise my daughter. I’m dealing with a despicable custody situation. There’s so much going on, I can’t even explain,” Bethenny, 47, continued. “I’m going to explode. I don’t have time for any bulls—.”

Their divorce was finalized in 2016, but they still don’t get along. Most recently, Jason was charged with
stalking and harassment. He was even
arrested outside daughter Bryn’s school. Allegedly, he hissed at the mother of his eight-year-old daughter, “I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned.”

That’s how Bethenny got
a restraining order against him in January 2017. It was extended in October, but would be lifted if he followed the order of protection for six months. That’s March 2018, for those keeping track. So Bethenny’s legal problems and custody battle were on her mind during her February vacation with the rest of the crew.

“The restraining order’s up in a month,” she told Dorinda, 53, through tears. “I just got the custody papers to do the custody battle. I’m panicked about the restraining order being up. I’m just panicked.”

“I’m just scared,” Bethenny revealed, with a shocking amount of vulnerability. “I don’t want to go back to the life I had. I don’t want to be tortured.” She was right to be worried, since in March a judge ordered that they should
continue to share custody. Jason’s not out of her life yet.

Bethenny ended up crying over her soured relationship with Carole during the episode too. It does seem like she has a sense of humor about it, though, since she shared
a montage of her crying on her social media.
When one fan asked how she could possibly spend so much time with people who are mean to her, she had a funny response.
Still, her followers were sympathetic to the harsh way her former friend was treating her.
