James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” segment is usually a fun and fluffy reprieve. But apparently the newest one on deck is a little more serious. On Tuesday, August 7, singer Ariana Grande joined James in his beloved car, filming a segment to air in upcoming weeks. Ariana first told fans about her day with an innocuous tweet. “y’all i love @jkcorden,” she wrote.
Then she posted a photo of herself where her hand was clearly bandaged. “but i LOVE my bandage it looks sick @JKCorden i’ll be ok one day,” she wrote.
A fan asked what happened.
She replied, “you’ll see ........... it’s so ...... stupid.” How can you injure your hand in a car?
When another follower asked if she had fun, she couldn’t help but gush. “Omg cute. yes, tons of fun. and i love my bandage it’s so cool, i will miss it when i heal.” That’s the most positive anyone had ever been about a bleeding hand!
James replied to her original tweet, not addressing the injury. “The #CarpoolKaraoke we just shot might be one of my favorites ever!” he gushed.
Ariana responded to that saying, “i’ve ...... never had more fun.” Hope fiancé
Pete Davidson doesn’t hear that! Isn’t the comedian supposed to be the fun one?
She sent one more grateful tweet to the Corden team later. “can’t wait for y’all to seeeee what we been up to,” she said. It’s good she didn’t let her injury ruin the day!
