JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes Make PDA-Packed Red Carpet Debut Amid Relationship Scrutiny
JoJo Siwa and boyfriend Chris Hughes are red carpet official — and look more in love than ever.
The Dance Moms alum, 22, and the Love Island star, 32, walked the carpet together at the 2025 Dancers Against Cancer Gala of the Stars, held Tuesday, October 21, at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
As they posed for photographers, Siwa could be seen leaning on her boyfriend’s shoulder while Hughes wrapped his arm around her waist. The two were also spotted holding hands and kissing each other on the cheek.
Siwa, who was wearing a black floor-length gown with pearls around the neckline, and Hughes, looking dapper in white pants and a brown polka dot dress shirt, met on the 24th season of U.K. Celebrity Big Brother.
At the Tuesday night gala, Siwa was being honored with the Humanitarian Award for her work with Dancers Against Cancer (DAC), a non-profit that provides financial help to dancers and their families who have been impacted by cancer.
Hughes and Siwa met in April while filming the British version of the celebrity reality competition show Big Brother. At the time, Siwa — who previously identified as a lesbian — was dating influencer Kath Ebbs and eventually came out as queer. She and Ebbs, 28, split at the time of the Celebrity Big Brother wrap party.
In June, Siwa confirmed that she and Hughes were in a relationship, telling The Guardian, “It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way.”
Their surprising romance has been met with mixed reactions from fans, and some friends even worry that Siwa and Hughes jumped into things rather quickly.
As Star previously reported, an insider said last month that “people in JoJo’s circle think she’s moving too fast,” adding: “She wants to move to the U.K. with Chris, and she wants a ring on her finger before she does.”
Siwa herself even admitted that she and Hughes are on the fast track, telling Heart’s No Filter, “It’s very quick, but it feels so right.”
