Jennifer Love Hewitt Defends Anne Hathaway Amid Accusations Her Baby Bump is Fake: ‘Please Stop’
Jennifer Love Hewitt shut down internet trolls on behalf of Princess Diaries actress Anne Hathaway, who has been accused of faking her baby bump.
“Anne Hathaway, you are perfection,” Hewitt, 47, shared via her Instagram Story on Monday, August 10, per Us Weekly. “This woman has been working sooo hard. Handling it all with such grace and, by the way, looks incredible!”
The Heartbreakers star added, “And now we are going to comment on her body while pregnant. Please stop talking about women’s bodies. Please leave women alone.”
The Devil Wears Prada star was flooded with comments suggesting she wasn’t actually pregnant after stepping out to the premiere of her upcoming movie, End of Oak Street on Sunday, August 9, wearing a pair of low-rise jeans and a shirt that exposed her midriff.
“Fake hair, real bump 😘 ✌️🦖🔥☀️🦕😅,” Hathaway, 43, responded via Instagram. “Enjoy The @endofoakstreet Block Party chaos with me as my outfit literally melts in the heat!!”
Her denial did not help quiet rumors as the comment section was full of remarks similar to, “Fakest belly I’ve ever seen😂😂.”
The Interstellar star announced in June that she is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman. The happy couple are already parents to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.
