‘Friends’ Alum Lisa Kudrow Shocks Fans, Says Rachel Shouldn’t Have Gotten Back With Ross
Phoebe — a.k.a. Lisa Kudrow — has spoken: Ross and Rachel were NOT on a break! The Friends star recently shared her thoughts on David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston‘s infamous season 3 storyline in which Ross’ intense jealousy over Rachel’s coworker leads her to suggest they “take a break” then Ross goes on to sleep with another woman. “It’s beyond break or not,” the 62-year-old told Jimmy Fallon, as reported by NBC News. “He was a bad boyfriend!”
Encouraged by the cheering Tonight Show audience, the Comeback star insisted that Rachel should never have gotten back together with Ross, “because he was horrible” for blaming Rachel for his own freak-out.
David had a very different take when he spoke to Jimmy about the subject in 2020. “It’s not even a question,” he said, adding, “They were on a break.”
