Disturbing Footage of Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s 2023 Violent Fight Surfaces

A video of Taylor Frankie Paul repeatedly attacking Dakota Mortensen during an argument in 2023 has surfaced.

In the disturbing clip shared by TMZ on Thursday, March 19, Paul 31, physically assaults Mortensen, grabbing him by the hair and hitting him with her hands. She can be seen running toward Mortensen and kicking her leg out.

Later in the video, Paul grabs multiple metal stools and throws them at him. One of those stools accidentally came in contact with Paul’s daughter, who she shares with ex-husband Tate Paul. The little girl can be heard crying after being hit with the stool and screaming for her mother.

Mortensen continually demands for Paul to leave him alone and orders her to “take care” of her daughter, but she doesn’t appear to immediately do so.

A representative for Paul gave a statement regarding the latest video.

“It’s sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child,” the rep told TMZ. “Releasing an old and selectively edited video on their son’s birthday is a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior. Thankfully, the public has seen this act before and knows who he is and sadly, many will recognize this pattern of manipulation, both in his actions on the show and from their own experiences.”

The video resurfaced just days before the premiere of season 22 of The Bachelorette, which Paul is the lead of. Earlier this week, the Draper City Police confirmed to People that a recent “domestic assault” investigation involving both Mortensen and Paul was opened.

Paul was arrested in 2023 after the incident in the clip and it was documented in the first season of The Secret Lives on Mormon Wives. The two reconciled after the fight and she went on to give birth to their son, Ever, on March 19, 2024.

As Star previously reported, there were rumors that ABC was considering pulling the plug on Paul’s season of The Bachelorette, and on Thursday, March 19, ABC made the call to cancel it.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” the network said in a statement to TMZ.
