David Schwimmer’s Romance with 29-Year-Old Raises Eyebrows: Jennifer Aniston Offers Loving Advice
An insider says that Jennifer Aniston is nudging her longtime castmate on the hit sitcom, David Schwimmer, to “date someone his own age” ever since the actor, 58, started seeing 29-year-old med student Eliana Jolkovsky. “Jen can’t help but meddle,” says the insider. “David means a great deal to her — and they did have a little flirtation going in the beginning of Friends, but that’s not what this is about. She thinks he keeps repeating the same mistake and doesn’t want to see him hurt.”
David, who divorced Zoë Buckman — an artist nearly 20 years his junior and mom to daughter Cleo, 14 — in 2017, “seems to lurch from one relationship to another,” says the source. “Jen urges him to take care and date someone older.” Not that David minds the interference. “She doesn’t get in his face,” notes the insider. “She does it in such a way that he can’t be offended. He’s helped her with her romances, and he knows Jen’s only looking out for him because she cares.”
