Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt would rather take a low blow than rewatch The Hills — literally.
On Thursday, June 12, Jenner, 41, posted an Instagram carousel, which included a shirtless mirror selfie, promoting a pair of boxer shorts from the brand Frida.
He penned a hilarious caption to accompany the ad, writing, “The family jewels deserve serious protection. Thanks to fridaballs I can keep them safe-no matter how many toddler shots to the crotch I take.”
Pratt, 41, popped into the comment section to crack a dad joke, writing, “What hits worse: rewatching the show or a toddler kick to the balls? #fridadads.”
The Princes of Malibu alum responded, “@spencerpratt the only thing worse than a toddler kick to the groin is rewatching season 3.”
The reality TV stars were, of course, referring to their hit reality show, The Hills, which ran for six seasons on MTV from 2006 to 2010. In season 3, Jenner started a romance with Lauren Conrad, but neither ever fully committed to being in a relationship with each other. As for Pratt, he moved in with his now-wife, Heidi Montag, and they struggled to find their footing as a couple.
Fast forwarding to the present, both Jenner and Pratt are fathers.
In June 2023, Jenner got engaged to girlfriend Tia Blanco, and they welcomed their daughter Honey, 22 months, into the world in July 2023.
Pratt tied the knot with Montag in 2008, and they share two children, Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2.

While both men have embraced fatherhood, they have also remained close friends. In January, Jenner appeared on Sirius XM and shared insight into his relationship with Pratt.
“We’ve known each other probably since we were like 13 years old. So I met him a long, long time ago, and then we developed a pretty close relationship when we were about, I think, 18 or 19,” Jenner explained. “We became really good friends, and you know Spencer is a great guy.”
Jenner, who called Pratt a “great friend,” also credited him for making their MTV reality show a hit.
“With The Hills, he came in and knew what he wanted to do before he got there. He was like, ‘I want to be this. I want to be that.’ And he kind of created this villain character,” Jenner admitted. “His vision, I think, was part of the reason why that show did so well because there was so much drama that was created, and he was such a good producer.”
