Nicki Minaj lands herself in the midst of more social media drama. This time, Azealia Banks is throwing shade over a wax figure of Minaj that was unveiled on August 4 at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas.

This is the world’s first wax figure with the likeness of Minaj, and it features the rapper posing on all fours with the same bikini and chains as her “Anaconda” music video. Reportedly, the museum even hired dancers to perform choreography from the video.
And Banks had plenty to say about the model on Twitter. The fellow rapper tweeted to her followers on August 12 “Wow, they finally give nicki minaj a wax figure and it’s a statue of her bent over on all fours…… White people yo….”

Banks continues on tweeting: “As much as that woman has accomplished, they had to put her on all fours… Why not standing up with a mic in her hand??? I would complain and ask for a do-over. That’s such underhanded shade. Martha Stewart’s most iconic moment was when she went to jail but they didn’t put her wax figure in a jail uniform… Come on y’all… All ppl are gonna do is go up to that statue and take pictures shoving their crotch in her face and putting their crotch on her butt. That’s not nice. I don’t feel good about that. But if u like it I love it.”

This isn’t the first time that Banks has spoken out about her peers through social media, and it looks like it won’t be the last. Minaj has not yet responded to the comments, but it’s only a matter of time.
