Affleck’s rep gave a statement to JustJared.com in response to Us Weekly‘s story about the pair seeing each other.
The rep said that they strongly deny the story. It is “outrageous and built on blind sources.” The actor’s rep also added that possible legal options are being considered. Ben’s rep also shot down Us‘s story of romance, saying, “all allegations of a romantic relationship are baseless and untrue.”
According to Us Weekly, when Christine Ouzounian first started caring for Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3, Ben and Jen were in the midst of a secret 10-month trial separation. The Beverly Hills nanny and the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star developed a serious attraction. Reports from Us Weekly also say that the pair spent time together at Ben’s new Los Angeles pad on July 17, and the two were in constant contact over text and email. “She says Ben really, really likes her,” says a friend of the nanny. “She’s saying this is true love.”
But amidst their divorce, the two have been keeping it very civil, and putting their family first. Star reported the two even kept their wedding bands on, insisting it’s for the kids. Just last week, Star readers know Ben took a trip to Atlanta to take care of their kids, while Jen is filming her latest movie, Miracles From Heaven. Reports say that the couple is in no “rush” to get divorced, rather they’re focused on being a family.
