Khloé Kardashian, by far the most boisterous sister of the Kardashian bunch, is planning to bring that sass to the masses in her very own talk show, Kocktails with Khloé, set to air on FYI, a new division of the A&E Network.
On June 21, the 31-year-old realty star tweeted and ‘grammed the big announcement along with a pic of herself sipping on fine red wine: “Excited to announce my new talk show “Kocktails with Khloé” on the @FYI network!! Can’t wait to show you all what we have in store for you on the show. More to come soon!”
Khloé will also executive produce the series, which is set to be a regular cozy soiree where she’ll share the tea with celebrity guests, good friends— and it’s probably not a far-fetched notion to expect members of her wildly famous family to drop by. In a write-up released by the fledgling network, the show is described as “an intimate dinner party filled with cooking, pop culture, conversation, and outrageously fun party games.”
Gena McCarthy, Programming & Development Senior Vice President at FYI, took the opportunity to gush over Kourtney Kardashian’s “ace” & sister bestie, touting her as “an iconic millennial voice”. The TV executive expressed how much the Network “look(s) forward to sharing her unique personality, wit, and insight with the FYI audience”
The feisty fashionista may be more prepared for the gig than one would expect, as she does have a few talk show stints under her belt, including guest host appearances on X Factor, Chelsea Lately, E! Live From the Red Carpet, and Fashion Police. Unfortunately, momager Kris Jenner’s short-lived talk show Kris, didn’t make it past its six week sneak peak, and was canceled in 2013.
Khloé’s exciting news arrives on the heels of her divorce being finalized last week, when both parties signed the papers after a year and a half ordeal behind ex-husband Lamar Odom’s alleged cheating and drug use.
