Things couldn’t get much worse for the Duggar family after the Josh Duggar scandal, which has included TLC pulling the family’s reality show 19 Kids and Counting from their network. But they’ve hit another bump in the road it sounds like. The family is now being investigated about the ‘welfare of a minor child,’ according to a new report by In Touch.
On May 27, just days before Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar appeared on The Kelly File interview on Fox News to talk about their son Josh molesting five girls in 2002, the police and Arkansas Department of Human Services were called to the Duggar pad.
The Washington Country DHS worker who placed the call requested the police’s help because the family refused entry to investigate if a child was all right. The records from the DHS call are still not available to the public, but it was confirmed the police were requested at the Duggars family address.
“We have an investigation and I guess they’re not being cooperative,” DHS said. “We have to see the child to make sure the child is all right. So we just need police assistance.”
