Not only did the “Happy” singer encourage Gwen to take risks with her music, he also may have saved her marriage! “Gwen and Gavin [Rossdale] have always had their ups and downs, but Pharrell always gives her amazing relationship advice,” the friend admits.
“He said her marriage would improve if she’s happy with her own career, and that’s what made her do The Voice,” the insider adds. “And he was right — it was exactly what she needed! She and Gavin are better than ever.”
